Our Search Process
Our search consultants exclusively help Catholic schools identify, recruit, retain, and support the most culturally-fit and professionally-qualified Catholic school leadership executives. As we look to the future, we need school leaders who can cultivate a strong, positive Catholic school culture; apply executive management skills to direct school operations; market the school for image, enrollment, and philanthropic support; as well as increase student achievement through data-informed, mission-driven, instructional leadership.
Discovery
We will meet with your search committee to review process and expectations. Our search team will spend two days on campus to gain an immediate and in-depth understanding of your school's culture, structure, and history. We then focus on the individual position and assist with the position description. Once complete, we finalize the search prospectus and launch.
Creating the Pool
We have a multi-pronged approach to developing a candidate pool. We develop a tailored strategy for outreach utilizing the firm’s robust network of contacts to form a targeted list of candidates who appear to fit your criteria. Any internal or client-identified candidates will also be evaluated, if applicable. Our goal is to initially cast the widest net to seek professionals ready to advance their careers and candidates.
Candidate Assessment
Through multiple interviews we assess the core competencies and appropriateness of each candidate. We provide you with “Potential Candidate” reports, which include all candidate credentialing, including resumes, statements of philosophy of education, and recorded video interviews.
Selection
Once candidates are selected for on-site interviews, we will return to your school community to facilitate both the semifinalist and finalist interviews and visitation activities while providing counsel to the search committee.
Facilitating Offer
When your school's leadership is confident they have found the best candidate for the position, we will help you perform formal background verification and finalize any negotiations required to complete your search and onboard your selected candidate.
Leadership Transition
Once your selected candidate arrives on campus and begins serving in the role, our team will facilitate leadership transition sessions with the school’s administrative team and board leaders.

CANDIDATE GUARANTEE
With every candidate that we place, we offer a candidate guarantee. Stated in our contract, there is a one-year placement guarantee for retained searches. If the selected candidate leaves for any reason, other than death or disability, within their first school year, the individual will be replaced at no additional cost.
